Representasi Film Laskar Pelangi Sebagai Diplomasi Kebudayaan Dalam Meningkatkan Jumlah Wisatawan Di Kepulauan Bangka Belitung

Abstract


Pemerintah Indonesia melakukan upaya diplomasi kebudayaan melalui promosi destinasi wisata dan berbagai keaneka ragaman budaya yang ada di Indonesia. Selain promosi, untuk memperkenalkan keindahan dan kebudayaan lokal, film juga dapat digunakan sebagai diplomasi kebudayaan. Salah satu film yang mengangkat mengenai keindahan panorama alam dan budaya Indonesia adalah film Laskar Pelangi dengan menggunakan lokasi syuting di Pulau Belitung yang berada di Provinsi Bangka Belitung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan penekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prospek eksplorasi budaya dan keindahan alam di Kepulauan Bangka Belitung semakin diminati wisatawan di seluruh Dunia membawa perubahan yang cukup signifikan di sektor pariwisata Kepualauan Bangka Belitung. Keberhasilan Kepualauan Bangka Belitung tersebut tidak lepas dari peran pemerintah dalam melaksanakan diplomasi kebudayaan. Selain itu, diplomasi kebudayaan lainya adalah dengan menggunakan film Laskar Pelangi dalam memperkenalkan budaya Kepulauan Bangka Belitung diinterpretasikan dengan menggunakan bahasa, latar dan dan berbagai adegan yang memperlihatkan kebiasaan atau adat istiadat yang ada di Pulai Belitung
